Does God want us to have money?

Does God want us to have money?
Yes, He wants us to be good stewards of money.
1. We don't own anything, it is for us to use while we are alive.
2. If we are good with money, then God will give us more. So what does being good with money mean?
3. Being good with money means looking  after what we have and it is better to give than recieve. We must tithe 10% to our church and give our time, money and ourselves to others. Then God will see we are good stewards of what He has given us and give us more!
(See about the talents. 1 talent was about a years wages).
Matthew 25:14-30 14 “For it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants[a]and entrusted to them his property.15 To one he gave five talents,[b] to another two, to another one, to each according to his ability. Then hewent away. 16 He who had received the five talents went at once and traded with them, and he made five talents more. 17 So also he who had the two talents made two talents more. 18 But he who had received the one talent went and dug in the ground and hid his master's money.19 Now after a long time the master of those servants came and settled accounts with them. 20 And he who had received the five talents came forward, bringing five talents more, saying, ‘Master, you delivered to me five talents; here I have made five talents more.’ 21 His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant.[c] You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’ 22 And he also who had the two talents came forward, saying, ‘Master, you delivered to me two talents; here I have made two talents more.’ 23 His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’24 He also who had received the one talent came forward, saying, ‘Master, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where you scattered no seed, 25 so I was afraid, and I went and hid your talent in the ground. Here you have what is yours.’ 26 But his master answered him, ‘Youwicked and slothful servant! You knew that I reap where I have not sown and gather where I scattered no seed? 27 Then you ought to have invested my money with the bankers, and at my coming I should have received what was my own with interest. 28 So take the talent from him and give it to him who has the ten talents. 29 For to everyone who has will more be given, and he will have an abundance. But from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away. 30 And castthe worthless servant into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

Conclusion :

It is better to give than recieve. God wants us to prosper. God doesn't want us to love money because it is not ours anyway. Everything comes from God and we must be good stewards of what He has given us and we will be responsible for more!

God has a plan, how do we keep having faith for things we can't see?

Psalm 131 1 O LORD, my heart is not lifted up; my eyes are not raised too high; I do not occupy myself with things too great and too marvelous for me.
2 But I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child is my soul within me.
3 O Israel, hope in the LORD from this time forth and forevermore.
1. We don't need to know all the answers because our Father in heaven has them.
If He told us all the answers, we may not understand them. Remember, His way of thinking is different to ours.
2. We can trust Him for His plan and purpose for our lives because the Word of the Bible says so. We must fully trust in God's provision.
3. When we are aware of just how much God loves us, we would never doubt Him but some measure His love against our negative experience from a parent or person while growing up. Let go of past hurts, give them to Jesus who died in your place and be free to succeed with a new trustworthy Father in heaven, God, by your side.

Conclusion : Don't worry about the details, God is in control. He already has a plan and a purpose for our life so keep going to Him for answers, He may not give you all the answers at once but trust that He cares for you. Sometimes we have a wrong view on God through negative experiences of life, trust God and he'll show you just how much He loves you!

Is It The Will Of God To Heal Everyone?

Yes, it is the will of God to heal everyone.
How do we know this? Jesus healed everyone, not once did He refuse.
1. Matthew 8:1-3 1 When he came down from the mountain, great crowds followed him.
2 And behold, a leper came to him and knelt before him, saying, "Lord, if you will, you can make me clean."
3 And Jesus stretched out his hand and touched him, saying, "I will; be clean." And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.(ESV)
2. We must build our truth on the one that is the truth, Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 3:11 "For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ".(ESV)
3. We must believe and not doubt.
And most of all love God, ourselves and people.

Conclusion: It is the will of God to heal everyone, we must love and not doubt the Word and see what Jesus did, for He is our Rock and our Faith. We must trust Him and continue in Faith.

How do you get to talk to God?

How do we have a relationship with God?
1. Ask, 'God are you there? If you are there let me know?'
2. The reason we can't hear Him is because He is a very kind, soft God and He speaks to us all the time, we just need to tune into quietly listening to Him.
3. The Holy Soirit is key to our relationship with God and when we ask God for a relationship with Him, it is the Holy Spirit that speaks to us and comes to live in us.

Conclusion: God wants an intimate relationship with us, He is our Heavenly Father and we are His children, He made us and wants a relationship and The Holy Spirit speaks as we listen. The Word, the Bible is another way we can hear the Holy Spirit speak to us about.

How to get out of the 'Cycle of Sin'

Overcome evil with good.
1.Romans 12:21 "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."
Don't worry about all the bad habits you are in.
2.God will help you be an Overcomer by placing good habits and good decisions and actions. Soon, keeping close to God you will be an Overcomer of anything you face in life.
3. Sometimes being in the wrong company can be really hard to do things you know you should do. Start to overcome evil with good and spend more time with people of good influence.
1 Corinthians 15:33 "Do not be deceived: "Bad company ruins good morals."

Conclusion: overcome evil with good, gradually spend more time with the right people and keep making good choices which will make good habits. And finally, keep close to God, Jesus is the ultimate Overcomer!

Fear The Lord and hate sin not people!

We are to love God, love our neighbour and love ourselves, so how do we hate sin?
1. We hate that sin can entangle us.
Hebrews12:1 "Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,"
2. Romans 12:9 "Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good." We must genuinely love people and want them to be free of sin. How can they be free?
3. Galatians 5:1
"It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery." We are all free thanks to Jesus dying on the cross and rising again , He overcame sin for us, we need to keep our eyes fixed on Him. He is our freedom!
4.Proverbs 8:13
"The fear of the LORD is hatred of evil. Pride and arrogance and the way of evil and perverted speech I hate." We must love people but hate evil. We must not tollerate sin.
Conclusion: We must run with endurance the race that is set before us, we must fear The Lord and hate sin and all evil. And most of all Love, Love, Love God, others and ourselves.
